Walk for Parkinsons - 5th July 2025
There will be a walk for Parkinsons event at Thoresby Park on Saturday 5th July organised by the Parkinson UK charity.
People with Parkinson’s need ongoing, specialised support. You can help to fund vital new specialist care experts like Parkinson’s nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, pharmacists, and mental health professionals.
Join us for a 1.8 or 6.3 mile walk around the beautiful Thoresby Park in Newark.
Walkers will start by Thoresby House, following a route around woodlands and the deer park.
Warm up together, walk together, finish together. Start and finish in the event village with the Parkinson’s community. Have a chat, grab a drink and find information and support.
Entry fee for adulys: £12.
Under 18s go free: bring the whole family together as those under 18 go free. All venues allow dogs on leads too.
Your entry fee goes towards the cost of organising the walk.
Before the walk, we’ll send you a Parkinson’s UK T-shirt, walk number and fundraising pack. On the day, we’ll be there to cheer you on and present you with your medal at the end!
