Tribute to Former Parish Councillor Linda George
Edwinstowe Parish Council paid its respects to former Councillor Linda George at its meeting on 8th May 2024. Linda, sadly passed away on 14th April 2024.
Linda was a longtime Edwinstowe resident and a highly committed Councillor, who was dedicated to serving the local community. She made a significant impact on the Parish Council and will be remembered as the driving force to establish Edwinstowe in Bloom, which she led with passion and enthusiasm to achieve a Silver award in their first year of entering the national Britain in Bloom competition.
She will be sadly missed.
Councillors paid tribute to Linda and passed on their sympathies to her family and friends.
