Thoresby Sporting Trust
Thoresby Sporting Trust supports cricket at all levels as well as football.
The Trust would like to congratulate Thoresby Colliery Cricket Clubs Junior Sections successes of the 2021 season.
The Kwiks took part in the Bassetlaw Division of the Notts Cricket Clubs Kwik Cricket Competiton and were crowned Champions being undefeated in all their games.
The U11’s hardball squad also proved to be a strong outfit and were undefeated in all their League games and were crowned Bassetlaw U11’s League Champions.
The U13’s hardball team took part in a very competitive Bassetlaw League losing only 2 games which placed them in 3rd place.With half the team made up of U11’s players it bodes well for the same players next season.
The U15’s struggled in their league with the team being made up of mainly U13’s and some U11’s.However the experience gained will have been valuable for those U13’s stepping up to the next level in 2022.
A presentation event was held at the clubhouse on September 25th when medals were presented to the teams.The Kwiks squad received their participating medals and also League winners medals.The U11’s squad were also presented with their League winners trophies.

- Aidan – U11’s Batting
- Jake – U11’s Bowling
- Tom – U11’s Managers Award
- Aidan – U13’s Batting
- Henry – U13’s Bowling
- Thomas – U13’s Managers Award
