New Parking Order
Newark and Sherwood District Council (hereinafter called “the Council”) in exercise of its powers under Sections 32, 35 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended (“the 1984 Act”) and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 as amended (“the 2004 Act”) and of all other enabling powers, with the consent of the Nottinghamshire County Council in accordance with section 39(3) of the 1984 Act and after consultation with the Chief Constable of Nottinghamshire Constabulary in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act hereby makes the following Order:
A copy of the draft Order, maps, and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined at the main reception at Castle House, Great North Road, Newark during normal office hours.
Anyone wishing to support or object to the proposals may do so by sending their representations in writing to the Director Safety with reference: Brian Rawlinson-Parking Services Manager, Corporate Property, Newark and Sherwood District Council, Castle House, Great North Road, Newark, Notts, NG24 1BY by 31st March 2024 stating the grounds of support/objection.
