Edwinstowe Hospice Support Group
At our Winter Fayre on Saturday 18th November we donated a cheque for £14,091 to Tracey Joyce, John Eastwood Hospice Trust Manager. Included in this was £9,091 from Tracey Wilson, her family and team of Robin Hood Avenue, who very kindly donate the proceeds of on-line sales plus donations in memory of Tracey’s mother, Jean Frettsome, who passed away earlier in the year.
Jean was very generous with her time and good deeds having spent so much of her life raising funds for various charities but especially for The John Eastwood Hospice. We thank Tracey, her father Bryan, her family and team for their efforts and for donating to us. It was a splendid combined amount which goes towards funding the vital work of the John Eastwood Hospice.
On the day of the Edwinstowe Christmas Lights Switch-on, November 23rd, we were able to conduct our Hamper Raffle, Lucky Dips and also a Tombola organised by Milly Gorman. We raised £389 which, together with the £770 raised at the November Winter Fayre, gives us £1159 to begin fund raising for this year.
We thank all our helpers and supporters and look forward to another wonderful year of fund raising. Here are the dates of events planned so far for 2024 all of which take place in Edwinstowe Village Hall.

Saturday 11th May Plant Sale and Coffee Morning.
Saturday 7th September Coffee Morning.
Saturday 30th November Christmas Fayre.
