Nottinghamshire Day Festival on Saturday 27 August between 11am-8pm
First-ever Notts Day Festival
Fancy seeing some of the county’s most talented and exciting young artists? Then join us for the first ever Nottinghamshire Day Festival on Saturday 27 August between 11am-8pm near the Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre.
With Nottinghamshire Day itself held every 25 August, the Festival is happening at the weekend so everyone can join in.
Hosted and headlined by local soul and R&B star Rob Green, the line-up will include 15 acts, all hailing from our county.
There’ll also be an array of family-friendly events including trying your hand at axe throwing, crossbow shooting and catapulting or enjoying a two-part combat show starring Robin Hood, Marian and their band of outlaws.
Festival-goers will get a chance to try out one of the world’s first interactive holographic movies, starring Robin Hood, using multi-media headsets.
This new event coincides with the return of the much-loved Robin Hood Festival which is currently taking place over several weekends until 29 August.
Nottinghamshire Day Festival entrance is free and for those travelling via car, parking will be £10 per vehicle, per day in line with all events at this venue between 27-29 August.
